Carrick-on-Shannon Car Boot Sale :

Carrick-on-Shannon Car Boot Sale was originally set up at Supreme Business Park (Kanes) (Supreme Oil Filling Station (formely Maxol) on the Sligo side of Carrick-on-Shannon a number of years ago.

We felt it was opportunity for people in the area to be able to buy or sell anything and everything regardless of how big or small the item was (within reason!) including fresh farm & organic foods at a bargain price.

We also had ample parking space on site to hold a successful event.

The Car Boot Sale has grown from strength to strength with regular and new traders coming on Sundays with a variety of different products at bargain basement prices.

New people regularly come on Sundays with a car boot full of valuables that they want to sell.

They are guaranteed to leave with an empty boot !

Intially people from the Carrick-on-Shannon area attended the Car Boot Sale but now people from surrounding towns and counties come as the popularity of it has grown.

The key to the success of the Car Boot Sale is its location where an array of retail shops and restaurants are in the area.

Businesses on site include Carrick Tiles.

It is a great day out for the family as people can go to the Cineplex, Bowling Alley or shop in Lidl or the local Supervalu while attending the Car Boot Sale across the road..
